Tassia Kobylinska
Tassia Kobylinska

Tassia Kobylinska, camera, editor, director and producer, has worked with community groups making participatory and social action videos since 1998. Prior to this she worked in the voluntary sector teaching and doing advocacy work. She has a Masters in Documentary at London University’s Goldsmiths College and PGCE (specialism in media). She is a lecturer in video and media studies at City and Islington College and Goldsmith’s College. Her documentaries have been screened all over the world.


Jonathan Whitehall
Jonathan Whitehall

Jonathan Whitehall, video editor, camera (with lighting), sound recordist and sound editor with more than 20 years experience. He has worked with several artists, mainly as an editor, and his work has been shown on Channel 4, and installed and exhibited at the Hayward Gallery and Tate Modern, as well as numerous other galleries in the UK. In addition his work has been shown worldwide, from Tokyo and Brazil to Italy, Amsterdam, Mexico and Canada. Jon is Senior Technical Advisor in the Dept of Media and Communications at Goldsmith’s College, supporting MA and BA students in their Documentary Practice, as well as teaching on their video production courses.

Bibi Funyal
Bibi Funyal

Bibi Funyal, sound recordist, writer and photojournalist, lives in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has worked with various news teams from Europe, the US and Asia, as a translator and fixer. His articles and photographs have been published in magazines and newspapers in Nepal, Holland, Belgium, USA and Japan. Having previously worked as a trekking guide for 15 years, he knows the Himalayan mountains and their communities intimately.

Peggy Vassiliou MA Documentary

Peggy Vassiliou is an RTS awarded Documentary filmmaker specialising in socio-cultural and historical documentary. She trained at the BBC and has worked for Channel 4, Discovery and the BBC. Her work has taken her to Greece, Egypt, Turkey and Cyprus. Peggy’s work with Roving Eye Film includes research on the Kumari, community video projects and a corporate film for City and Islington College Centre for Life Long Learning. She has also been involved in NGO Projects and is currently editing a film about American wild black bears for the Worldwide Society for the Protection of Animals WSPA

Tata Dimitratou MA Drama

Trained in the performing arts at Middlesex university, Mountview academy and with Philippe Gaulier. She has worked for the stage and the screen and has specialized in theatre and video workshops and productions for children and young adults in a community/educational context. Her workshops, with children and people with learning difficulties range from a variety of dramatic topics to working with costume, masks, puppetry and music.

Karen Tomlin

Karen is Associate Director of London Bubble Theatre Company and directed their recent production Home, exploring the meaning of home to people who have left their home to live in the UK, featuring Kurdish, Polish, Somalian and Vietnamese. She has experience of both acting and directing on stage and screen for over 15 years. She has taught and run workshops for people with learning difficulties, women who have experienced prison and probation, children and refugees.

Yetunde Otuwehinmi BA film - PGCE

Yetunde Otuwehinmi is a qualified teacher of video production. Roving Eye is currently editing her project in Hoxton, East London which brings together young people and elders to explore the changes in the area from pre World War II to present time. Yetunde teaches community and participatory video and drama and also teaches at schools and colleges in London.
